Sandpoint’s 18th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Festival.
This is an event of the Inland Empire Chapter Antique & Classic Boat Society. The beautiful wooden and classic boats are docked all down the boardwalk running along Sand Creek right in downtown Sandpoint. Friday, July 15 begins with the launching and mooring of boats along the boardwalk at noon. Saturday, July 16 at 9 a.m. is the raising of boat flags and national anthem. Then from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. the boat show is open to the general public. This is family-friendly with boat building and fun activities for kids. 3 p.m. is the Parade of boats on Sand Creek.
